Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team at Epworth Eastern Cath Lab as a Radiographer (Medical Imaging) on a casual basis. In this role, you will handle a diverse range of cases in interventional cardiology, interventional vascular procedures, and interventional radiology. As a member of the Cath Lab team, you will report directly to the Cath Lab Manager.
You will make an impact by:
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience
- Encouraging patient and family members participation in care plans
- Collaborating with Consultants to ensure examination requirements are met
- Working in a collaborative team environment
To be successful in this role…
You are passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes and consider yourself to be highly accountable. Working with an interdisciplinary team, you demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging communication style. You have an interest in hybrid perioperative operating environments and are keen to expand your experience and skill set as the service expands.
You will have
- Current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated post graduate Cath Lab radiography experience
- Contemporary knowledge of better practice in Cath Lab imaging
- Demonstrate knowledge of legislation, registration and radiation safety including ALARA principle
