Job Description
An exciting 12-month fixed-term contract has arisen for an experienced Urology Nurse to work in Justin Chee’s Urology rooms based on Clarendon Street.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RN to work in the Urology practice supporting Justin Chee along with his patients through their Urological treatment Journey.
The role includes, patient education, pre and post op care, penile rehabilitation nurse led program and dealing with patient enquires.
This is a 2 day a week opportunity working Tuesday and Friday 8-4 commencing Jan, 2025.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Epworth values that are incorporated into everyday life by delivering excellent patient-centred care
- Nursing Midwifery Board (NMBA) approved Nurse Practitioner qualification at Master's Level or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years recent experience in advanced nursing role and 5 years recent experience in Urology
- Nurse Practitioner Medicare provider number and prescriber number (desirable)
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in clinical advancements particularly in the speciality of Urology
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills that inspire trust and confidence and build strong relationships with patients, their families and key internal & external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships to work collaboratively with peers and superiors, and to contribute to organisation-wide improvement and growth
- Demonstrated willingness to educate undergraduate & postgraduate nurses, other health professionals, patients and families

Qualifications
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
