Job Description

This Fellowship is a unique opportunity for young General Surgeons to pursue Post Fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery.

This is a two-year colorectal fellowship program that includes clinical colorectal and research experience in Australia, and clinical colorectal experience in the United States.

The first year of the programme is in Melbourne at Epworth HealthCare with both clinical and research components.

The successful applicant will be enrolled at the University of Melbourne in a higher degree, Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine, under the supervision of Professor Alexander Heriot.

The second year of the programme is a Clinical Colorectal Fellowship Year in the Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

This Fellowship programme commences in February 2025.
