Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for experienced Physiotherapists to join our highly valued Allied Health team at Epworth Geelong on a casual basis.  We welcome applications from physiotherapists with a minimum of three years clinical experience in acute care and rehabilitation who are seeking week day and weekend shifts.

At Epworth Geelong our physiotherapists provide care to patients in the Emergency Department, ICU, acute wards, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation services. Patient profiles include but are not limited to, orthopaedics, neurology, cardiorespiratory, general medical, surgical, oncology, pelvic health and pain management.  As a casual physiotherapist at Epworth Geelong your role would include cover of planned and unplanned leave as well as rostering to weekend work.

The successful applicant will possess sound clinical credentials, the ability to work autonomously across the continuum of hospital based care as well as demonstrated contributions to highly performing teams.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a physiotherapist in a hospital setting
  • Physiotherapy skills in acute clinical care and/or outpatient rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to manage a busy clinical load
  • Excellent time management skills and a high attention to detail in all aspects of your work
  • The ability to effectively manage a varied clinical caseload
