Job Description

Working in a full time or part time capacity you will be part of a dynamic team in a growing Coronary Care Unit at Epworth Geelong in a modern environment. Offering a wide variety of cardiac services to the community, the team strives for excellence in patient care and providing an individual patient experience. 

  • We are a highly skilled team caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions and procedures such as Interventions/EP
  • 8 acute cardiac beds + 15 cardiology/ Neuroscience telemetry beds
  • We manage patients with high acute cardiac and respiratory conditions that require monitoring and cardiac monitoring
  • We offer a supportive and friendly environment, and our focus is to deliver excellence in patient care in partnership with multidisciplinary teams, care givers and the wider community.
  • We provide ongoing training and development including post graduate education. 

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering an exceptional patient experience within the critical care environment
  • Providing a high standard of nursing care
  • Demonstrating empathy and compassion to patients, families and medical consultants

You are a patient-centred Critical Care Registered Nurse who wants to join a friendly and welcoming team and is willing to grow as our service expands. You will have:

  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing
  • Relevant acute experience
  • A valid Working With Children's Check 
  • Cardiology experience essential
