Job Description
In this Full Time permanent role, based in Epworth corporate offices, you will be responsible for supporting clinicians to improve patient care through your ability to generate insights from clinical information.
You will be part of the Academic & Medical Services Department team and report to the Group Director Clinical Governance.
The Clinical Outcome and Analysis Unit, with our mix of clinical and analytics professionals, exists to lead the monitoring of clinical performance across Epworth. In this we help people see and understand clinical information to stimulate quality and safety improvement and increase transparency and accountability.
As the Clinical Analyst you will:
- Undertake analysis and insight generation from a wide range of information sources
- Deliver clinical information in a form that supports use by clinicians
- Identify opportunities for improvement in patient outcomes
- Deliver routine and ad hoc reporting to internal and external customers
- Use your ability to interpret the needs of our clinical colleagues and communicate it to deliver outcomes
- Require experience in the development and use of reporting dashboards including Power BI™
- use contemporary reporting and analysis tools
To be successful in this role…
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to build clinical insights for specialists and service providers.
- Utilise your concise and clear communication skills to ensure broad understanding of concepts, process and improvement opportunities.
You will have:
- Demonstrated understanding of current clinical concepts and/or health care operations
- Experience and/or qualifications in quality, analysis, and/or database management.
