An exciting new chapter for Eastern Epworth opening a standalone ward to deliver additional beds, to accommodate the expanded theatres and consulting rooms. Our redeveloped site delivers a positive, meaningful and sustainable impact on the health and well-being of our community, delivering much needed health care services and facilities in Melbourne’s east. This 21 bed multi-disciplinary unit uses an integrated team approach to ensure a high quality of patient care for acute and chronic medical patients across a range of specialties. Supported by 24-hour medical emergency assistance from Epworth Eastern's Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

A wide range of acute and chronic medical problems are treated with advanced care, technology and services by multidisciplinary teams.

Job Description

Qualification & Experience required for our new team
•    Have current AHPRA Registered/ Enrolled Nursing registration
•    Two years minimum experience in acute setting, working as an EN or RN
•    Demonstrate a strong, supportive, collaborative and engaging style
•    Well-developed proactive time management and prioritisation skills
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Commitment to your professional development
•    Ability to work within a team focused environment
•    Passion about patient centred care grounded in high quality clinical outcomes
•    We welcome applicants from sub-acute, medical and surgical environments
