Job Description

Reporting to the Chief of Strategy and Performance, this position is responsible for the delivery of major capital projects, oversees the effective and strategic operations of critical infrastructure and to maximise commercial outcomes.

With a focus of collaboration, integration and consistency and working closely with site Executive General Managers this role will support the organisational requirements in alignment with agreed strategic goals and operational plans and priorities.

Qualifications

Reporting to the Chief of Strategy and Performance, the Group Director Property and Infrastructure oversees Epworth’s entire property portfolio. With an eye to the future, the role is tasked with ensuring Epworth has the portfolio needed to deliver on its ambitious plans – to provide new models of care, expand clinical services, and drive continued innovation. To this end the Executive Director Property and Infrastructure will work across the entire property lifecycle, including site selection, planning and delivery, operations and facilities management, and full-cycle property refurbishment and divestment. As a key senior leadership position within the organisation, the Group Director Property and Infrastructure will be the senior-most point of expertise for all property and infrastructure-related matters.

About you

A senior property executive with extensive experience across the entire property lifecycle, you are able to lead the delivery of multiple large and complex projects and provide end-to-end oversight of major contracts and commercial negotiations. You are highly experienced in delivering major brownfield capital infrastructure projects within constrained budgetary environments, and are well abreast of best practices in the operation of property operations, systems and facilities management. A seasoned leader with the ability to build and inspire high performing teams, you have higher order problem-resolution, lateral thinking and creative skills, and the ability to think laterally and strategically in order to meet deadlines and productive quality work under pressure.
