Epworth Freemasons provides a range of world-class health services and is one of Victoria's leading maternity hospitals. Epworth Freemasons specialises in women’s and men’s health services including breast and gynaecological surgery, endoscopy and urology.
The Maternity Services department consists of 9 birth suites, 10 bed special care nursery, 34 bed postnatal unit and a 4 bed hospital in the Park Hyatt Hotel and currently accommodates approximately 3,000 births per annum.
Job Description
In this permanent part-time (30 hours per week), based in East Melbourne, you will be responsible for establishing meaningful connections with potential maternity patients to grow bookings and contribute to a wonderful maternity experience that will stimulate repeat business and advocacy. You will be part of the Epworth Freemasons team and report into the Business Development Manager.
You will make an impact by:
- Being a brand ambassador for Epworth Freemasons maternity services as the first point of contact for all potential patients their families and other stakeholders within the Epworth community (e.g. obstetricians).
- Showcasing the facilities and key benefits of the Epworth Freemasons maternity experience
- Conduct and manage Maternity Tours (held both on weeknights and weekends)
- Developing and growing business for our maternity services through proactive lead generation to conversion into booking.
- Establishing a rapport with potential patients and guiding them through the booking process and other touch points throughout their journey.
- Assisting with marketing initiatives and brand campaigns
To be successful in this role…
You are an engaging and experienced business development or customer service professional, with strong interpersonal skills that enable you to easily influence, build relationships and earn the trust and respect of your customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
Excellent with your time management and organisation skills, you have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work. Previous maternity experience preferred but not essential.
You will have
- Customer service or business development experience working for a premium brand
- Ability to work regular evenings and weekends to support tours and events
- Demonstrated experience in working with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Excellent administrative capabilities, attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lead and influence with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Strong analytical skills with the financial acumen necessary to identify and plan commercially viable projects.
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work autonomously and to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
- A highly motivated, organised, logical and practical thinker with good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to navigate through an ambiguous and fast-paced, changing environment
- Commitment to a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and solutions-focussed management approach, with a proven track record in meeting KPIs and project management
