Job Description
Epworth Freemasons is seeking an experienced Grade 3 Physiotherapist to join our acute physiotherapy service working on the maternity ward in a part-time permanent role.
As a senior clinician, the successful candidate will be a dedicated emerging or experienced leader with impressive clinical credentials across pelvic health in the acute inpatient setting, as well as demonstrated service improvement contributions through quality and/or research initiatives. You are an experienced physiotherapist (minimum 7 years), with a passion for pelvic health physiotherapy in an acute hospital setting.

You will make an impact by:
- Providing individually tailored best practice physiotherapy care to maternity and pelvic health patients
- Being a self-motivated clinician who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment
- Integrating physiotherapy into the clinical care team on the inpatient maternity ward
- Collaborating with other health clinicians to develop and grow services based on best practice
- Effective and results driven leadership in your allied health and physiotherapy portfolios
- Supervising and supporting other physiotherapists, allied health assistants and students
- Active participation in departmental professional development and quality improvement/research activities
- Demonstrating and leading safe practice to mitigate risks in patient care
- Contributing strongly to the positive culture of the physiotherapy and broader allied health team
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current physiotherapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Extensive clinical experience as a physiotherapist (minimum 7 years)
- Considerable pelvic health experience, including working on an acute maternity inpatient ward
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications (desirable) or plans to complete
- A demonstrated commitment to relevant professional development
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A passion for patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes

- Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Council
