Job Description

We are very excited to offer the opportunity for a highly sought after Senior Mental Health Clinician role at Epworth Camberwell.

Based at a Grade 3 level, the role will provide specialist therapeutic care within the private mental health sector.

To be successful, you must be passionate about recovery orientated mental health service provision, experienced in the delivery of a range of psychological interventions (group and individual) with a focus in DBT and in providing targeted psychological therapies for people experiencing mental ill-health.

As a part of our incredible Epworth Clinic Allied Health team, reporting to the Mental Health Program Manager, you will have autonomy in managing your day to day caseload. About Rehabilitation & Mental Health

You will make an impact by:

  • Providing evidence-based practice for group and individual therapy, within inpatient, outpatient and private practice settings
  • Contributing to the clinical leadership of a highly skilled AH team
  • Providing supervision to students and grade 2 Psychologists
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

You will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration and have a current Medicare provider number (or be eligible)
  • Registration as a Board approved supervisor with AHPRA
  • Knowledge and experience in delivering group and individual therapy
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (essential), as well as ACT, CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness (desirable)
  • Experience in working with eating disorders, complex trauma, PTSD and/or older aged patients is highly desirable

Qualifications

  • Psychology - A Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent

  • OT - Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent as recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy
