Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our highly valued Allied Health team at Epworth Geelong for a fixed-term role (12 months parental leave cover).
Commencing in late 2023/early 2024 the successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to our programs in acute care and outpatient rehabilitation. At Epworth Geelong our physiotherapists provide care to patients in the Emergency Department, ICU, acute wards, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation services. Patient profiles include but are not limited to, orthopaedics, neurology, cardiorespiratory, general medical, surgical, oncology, pelvic health and pain management.
The successful applicant will possess sound clinical credentials as well as demonstrated contributions to quality improvement.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a physiotherapist in a hospital setting
- Physiotherapy skills in acute clinical care and/or outpatient rehabilitation
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage a busy clinical load
- Excellent time management skills and a high attention to detail in all aspects of your work
- The ability to effectively manage a varied clinical caseload with additional responsibilities including staff & student supervision as well as quality improvement activities
