Job Description

Apply today to join our team as a Maintenance Technician! In this role, you will ensure all equipment operates efficiently to maintain production while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

THE ROLE

  • HOURS: Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4 pm. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime.

  • MAINTENANCE: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime. Conduct preventative maintenance according to scheduled intervals and document all activities. Installation of new machinery and assist with equipment upgrades or modifications.

  • MINIMIZE DOWNTIME: Respond promptly to production breakdowns and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption and identify recurring equipment issues.

  • SAFETY & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records. Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacement parts as needed. Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as needed. Identify opportunities for process improvements and energy savings.

 

Qualifications

  • KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or related field preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a printing or manufacturing environment. Proven dedication in prior roles through longevity and consistent work history. Experience with offset, digital, or flexographic printing equipment is a plus.
  • SKILLS: Excellent communication and people skills. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting skills and with a commitment to precision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • ABILITIES: THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA, NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime. Ability to lift and move 50 pounds. Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. Comfortable working in a noisy, rapidly evolving environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States, and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen, physical assessments, audio, and color vision test.
