What You'll Do

As the Head of Operations, you will lead and oversee all manufacturing and supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and operational excellence. Your role will involve managing production workflows, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

What We’ll Expect You to Do

• Oversee end-to-end garment production processes, ensuring adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
• Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain world-class production quality.
• Develop and optimize production schedules, workflow processes, and resource allocation for efficiency.
• Manage procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring timely sourcing of raw materials and cost-effective vendor relations.
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of garment manufacturing machinery, tools, and equipment to prevent downtime.
• Supervise cutting, sewing, finishing, and packaging operations, ensuring output meets client specifications.
• Lead and mentor production teams, driving workplace efficiency, staff training, and performance improvement.
• Monitor inventory control, waste reduction, and cost-saving measures to enhance profitability.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards in the factory.
• Stay updated on best industry practices, lean manufacturing principles, and emerging technologies in apparel production.
• Collaborate with design, business development, and logistics teams to align production with business goals.
• Prepare operational reports and performance analyses, providing insights for continuous improvement.

What You'll Need to Know

• Best practices in apparel production management, supply chain optimization, and lean manufacturing.
• Garment manufacturing machinery and equipment, including industrial sewing machines, cutting tables, heat presses, and automated production tools.
• Fabric properties, textile processing techniques, and quality control measures in apparel production.
• People management and leadership, ensuring seamless collaboration between production staff, supervisors, and other departments.
• Safety regulations and compliance standards in industrial garment production.

Who You Are

• A seasoned operations professional with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management, preferably in garment manufacturing.
• A hands-on leader who can oversee multiple production lines while ensuring quality and efficiency.
• A problem solver with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production challenges.
• Someone with strong knowledge of supply chain management, production planning, and process optimization.
• A highly organized and detail-oriented individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
