Job Description

What You'll Do

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships. Your key focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and positioning the company as a leading manufacturer in the industry.

What We’ll Expect You to Do

  • Develop and execute business growth strategies to penetrate local and international markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with fashion brands, retailers, corporate clients, and industrial apparel users.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, designers, and supply chain partners.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to analyze trends, customer demands, and competitive positioning.
  • Work closely with the production and design teams to align client requirements with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver compelling business proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure partnerships and contracts.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage pricing structures to ensure profitability.
  • Stay updated on best industry practices, garment production processes, and emerging technologies in apparel manufacturing.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company's capabilities.

 

 

Qualifications

What You'll Need to Know

  • Best practices in business development, sales strategy, and B2B marketing within the apparel and garment manufacturing industry.
  • Apparel production processes, including design, fabric selection, prototyping, CMT, and mass production.
  • Industry trends, including sustainable manufacturing, ethical sourcing, and technological advancements in textile production.
  • Garment manufacturing tools and equipment to effectively communicate capabilities to potential clients.
  • People management skills, working cross-functionally with sales, production, and technical teams to achieve business objectives.

Who You Are

  • A results-driven business professional with at least 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the fashion, apparel, or manufacturing industry.
  • A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market expansion and client acquisition.
  • An excellent communicator and negotiator with a proven track record in revenue generation.
  • Someone with strong analytical skills, capable of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
