Job Description
This position is a general maintenance position for upkeep of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, welding and carpentry tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks for the upkeep of the buildings and the grounds
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all machinery
- Perform oil changes and fluid level checks on all forklifts and machinery
- Use carpentry, plumbing and electrical for minor repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance of pumps and motors
- Perform basic welding tasks, ie. mig and stick welding
- Maintain a clean and pristine work area at all times
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
- Serve as liaison with vendors for facility repairs
- Purchase equipment/supplies for facility related repairs
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
- Two or more years of maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge in maintenance, specifically in carpentry, plumbing, welding and electrical skills
- General knowledge of working with smalls pumps and motors
- Ability to read and understand manuals to assist in repairs
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend hours
