Job Description

As the Maintenance Technician your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility. 

  • Conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment. 
  • Develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders and perform other assignments. 
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on rolling stock.
  • Carpentry, Plumbing, electrical skills for minor repairs.
  • Ability to read manuals to assist in repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and pristine work area at all times.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Class A CDL (CDL-A) preferred; candidates without a CDL must be willing to obtain
  • General knowledge in maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electric, pump repair, forklift repairs, and plumbing
  • By law, you must be at least 18 years of age
  • Good communication skills.
  • Safety first mentality.
  • Physically capable of manual labor and lifting, up to/exceeding 40 lbs
  • Positive attitude.
  • Not only a willingness, but ability to learn.
  • Manage the workload that is put before you.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field
  • Knowledge of hazardous material handling, and OSHA training.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
