Job Description
We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Master Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team with a pay of $43.10 per hour. This position offers an exciting opportunity to maintain and ensure the optimal performance of over 40 pieces of various heavy equipment types.
What you'll do:
- Repair, overhaul, or modify vehicles and equipment that are complex and involve complicated and varied systems
- Improvise modifications to equipment to correct reoccurring malfunctions
- Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy equipment of various types
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner.
- Oversee & manage PM's on equipment as needed on a scheduled basis.
- Manage repairs & work orders.
- Communicate timeframes, expectations, and issues to Maintenance Supervisor and the leadership team.
- Consistently look for and identify equipment issues that could cause a safety issue or equipment failure, ultimately causing downtime with the unit.
- Focused on getting routine maintenance done within the allotted time frame.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Prior experience in Diesel HE Mechanics
- 3+ years of relatable work experience.
- Industry technical certifications AC/MACS 609 preferred
- Experience in Sennebogen Diagnostics
- Experience in CAT ET, Cummins Insite, CAT SIS software and diagnostics as well as paperback manual diagnostic
- Leadership ability, able to work & manage a team in a very fast-paced environment with high-pressure situations.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must pass an initial background, drug test and pre-hire physical screening.
