Job Description
The Opportunity
Packager Associate to package animal diets produced. This includes the
filling and closing of all products bags, obtaining QA samples, setting
date-code printer and palletizing the finished product for storage and/ or
shipment.How you will contribute to make a
difference
Perform all set up and preparation work prior to
packaging each diet.
Accurately and thoroughly complete all forms and
documents needed for each packaging run.
Operate all packaging equipment and perform operator
adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area according
to the housekeeping procedures and checklists.
Other
duties as assigned.

Ability to frequently lift up to 30# and
occasionally lift up to 50#, and capable of climbing, bending, reaching,
standing and walking for long periods.
Must be able to work Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM -
6:00 AM.
Must have average or better than average math,
English writing skills for record keeping and English language skills for
communication with other team members.
Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively
within a work team.
Must be able to work in a noisy and dusty
environment.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks quickly
and efficiently.
Ability to wear all required safety equipment.
Successfully pass a physical examination by company
approved physician.
High degree of attention to detail.
