Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious and creative Content Manager to join our growing team in Manhattan, New York. Under the direction of the Director, Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for the development, creation and execution of content across the agency’s social media channels. Through their online marketing efforts, the Content Manager will play a key role in building brand recognition of the Enthuse Foundation, a start-up non-profit foundation that supports female entrepreneurs.


The ideal candidate possesses a demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and helping women-owned businesses.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for developing content ideas, researching and writing, editing and posting content to Enthuse website, social media accounts and blogs. 
  • Monitor, track, and document content results; analyze data and customer responses.
  • Create content marketing calendar to ensure regular content release across all platforms.
  • Assist with writing case studies, semi-monthly newsletters, PR opportunities and award submissions.
  • Create and manage a resources database for the Foundation.
  • Responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of Enthuse Foundation events.
  • Oversee Mentor and Book Club programs.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in content development and community management.
  • Non-profit experience, female-focused philanthropy and understanding of mentorship programs preferred.
  • Understanding of content marketing tactics such as SEO, digital advertising and social media marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; the ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
  • Proven success in coordination of special events of various sizes and scope.
