Job Description
As an Account Executive, SMB Growth & Client Implementation, you will own the full lifecycle of small business clients — from sourcing and converting new SMB accounts through successful onboarding, implementation, and early growth.
This role is performance-driven and evaluated based on both individual contribution and the overall performance of the assigned regional team. Success requires strong collaboration, shared accountability, and alignment with regional goals for revenue, conversion, onboarding quality, and client activation.
Your primary focus will be to identify, prospect, and close small business clients, then ensure those clients are effectively onboarded to the Working Advantage savings marketplace and activated for long-term success. You will act as the main point of contact during the early client lifecycle, building meaningful relationships that drive engagement, adoption, and subscriber growth.
Performance & Team Accountability
- Performance is measured based on a combination of individual results and overall regional team performance, including SMB conversion, onboarding success, activation rates, and client engagement.
- Actively collaborate with regional peers to share best practices, support pipeline health, and drive collective outcomes.
- Maintain strong alignment with regional goals, initiatives, and leadership priorities.
- Demonstrate ownership not only of personal accounts, but of the success and growth of the broader regional book of business.
Small Business Sourcing & Conversion:
- Contribute to regional sales targets by supporting shared pipeline initiatives and cross-collaboration with regional teammates.
- Balance personal conversion goals with regional performance objectives to ensure consistent SMB growth.
Client Implementation & Onboarding:
- Partner with regional team members to ensure consistent onboarding standards, quality, and client experience across the region.
- Share implementation insights and client feedback to improve regional onboarding performance and activation outcomes.
Client Growth & Relationship Management:
- Support regional retention and expansion goals by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across the regional SMB client base.
- Participate in regional planning sessions, strategy discussions, and performance reviews.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of B2B inside sales experience in a fast-paced environment; small business < 250 employee sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust with small business decision-makers.
- Proven ability to prospect, convert, and manage new business opportunities.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable owning both sales outcomes and post-sale client execution.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based selling and service environment.
- Values direct, honest communication and continuous feedback.
- Adaptable and responsive to changing priorities and business needs.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in team-based, performance-driven environments where results are measured collectively.
- Collaborative mindset with a sense of shared responsibility.
- Must be available for onsite training for 2 weeks in the Orlando Office.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $54,000.00 per year ($25.96/hour)
