• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience within the MM/WM/IM is required.

• Participation in one/two full cycle implementations within MM/WM and/or a minimum of 2 years of run support experience in MM/WM is required.

• Good knowledge in SAP and other 3rd party system integration

Responsibilities:

• Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the MM module of ECC 6.

• Ability to configure as well as lead master data discussions for cutover in WM.

• Good skills in configuring Material Master, Purchase Requisition (PR), Request for quotation, Purchase Order (PO), Agreements, Info records, Release Procedures, Pricing, Automatic Account determination, Inventory Management, Reservation, Transfer Posting, Stock Transfer and Physical Inventory process, valuation and batch management, split valuation , batch management.

• Good knowledge of different procurement processes like direct, indirect, third party, sub-contracting, stock transport orders, stock transfers, account assigned POs, asset procurement, consignment etc.,

• Should have good master data management skills including developing and working with data migration tools.

• Should have configuration knowledge of Country Specific tax requirements

• Should be able to write functional specifications in detail.

• Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge

• Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.

• Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.

• Ensure the integrity of the interface design requirements of the SAP system across multiple landscapes.

• Support production configuration and assist in functional change requests.

• Internal Warehouse movements, transfer requirements and transfer orders

• Goods receipts with inbound delivery

• Goods issues with outbound Deliveries

• Picking and packing, handling unit, stock replenishment, fixed bin replenishment

• Picking strategies- FIFO, LIFO, SLED

• Put-away strategies-fixed bin, open bin, next empty bin, near bin

• Inventory processes and storage unit management

• Cross docking and Yard management , 

• Batch Management

• Stock transfer, Return to Vendor process and scrapping

• Experience in Idocs and Batch jobs

• Developing Functional specifications and working closely with Development team for required changes in User exit. (Bapi/Query)

• Strong exposure with Radio Frequency (Mobile data entry) functionalities.

• Good exposure in Handling Unit / Batch Management processes.

• Work with SAP to resolve software bugs.

• Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research.

• Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments and make recommendations.

• Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for finance related processes.

• Develops functional specifications and works with BASIS and ABAP personnel resources to complete object development and testing

• Should lead and coordinate the work of a small team

• Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing

• Understands and applies Boston Scientific methodologies and procedures
