Skills Required

Primary Skills and Responsibility :-

• Experience in designing storage technology and integrating various cloud storage options.

• Experience in designing backup infrastructure (on premise tool viz. Commvault) and supplementing with cloud storages.

• Experience in Capacity planning and perform analysis of current landscape of Storage workloads and Storage pools. Defining target/Future state of storage landscape

• Identify/Finalize storage requirements for on premise (eg. Vmax), and on other cloud environments like AWS, Azure.

• Configure the new storage environment on premise and leverage cloud storage as per requirement.

• Define and plan the migration roadmap from one array to another based on mapped host type and their business priorities

• Experience in configuring Auto scaling and Elastic Load Balancer (ELB) for instances on high availability and configure monitoring tool.

• Analyze DR setup and redesign if applicable, based on the target environment for each of the application for which DR is required.

• Experience in configuring DR as per design by leveraging on premise datacenters and cloud environments. Configure asynchronous replication.

• Configure Scripts as necessary to perform automatic copy of data and for recovery of services

• Experience in Setting and integrating existing backup infrastructure to the Cloud storage options.

• Set the Region and availability zone where backup storage infrastructure should be deployed

• Experience in scripting for moving the data to and from the cloud with on premise backup infrastructure.

• Experience in migration to new Backup tool which is capable of integrating with Cloud backup options.
