Uptown Surgery Center is growing and we are looking for an experienced Operating Room Nurse to grow with us in our Dallas facility!
Job Description
Position Summary
The OR Nurse is responsible for preparing the operating room and sterile field for surgical procedures by ensuring that surgical equipment in functioning properly and safely; by preparing sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment using sterile technique; anticipating the needs of the surgical team based on knowledge of human anatomy and pathophysiology and how they relate to the surgical patient and the patient’s procedure.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing
- Current RN license in state of practice required.
- BLS required.
Preferences
- CNOR preferred.
- Operating room experience preferred.
- ACLS preferred.
