Job Description
This position provides loan documentation support to Corporate Banking services and is responsible for generating various types of complex commercial loan documents as approved by the Corporate Loan Committee and in compliance with Ent Policies and NCUA regulations. The Loan Documentation Specialists are responsible for maintaining complete and accurate loan files in order to limit collateral risk and assist in the monitoring of loan servicing, performance, and compliance with loan terms. This position is responsible for carrying out assignments on their own initiative and exercising considerable discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
Essential Functions
- Create, manage, and maintain corporate loan files (both physical and electronic). Gather and request loan documentation as required in the loan terms or as requested by the loan officer and assure files are current, complete, and up to date.
- Prepare commercial loan documents primarily using Laser Pro software, but may also include Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Input ticklers and covenants, as well as assist with preparation of periodic reports in Baker Hill NextGen software.
- Input & maintenance of commercial loans to Symitar. Manage and maintain applicable ticklers (to include procuring and updating collateral real estate taxes and collateral insurance ticklers).
- Scanning of loan documents into Synergy.
- Process paid loans. Verify loan record to ensure correct payoff, prepare real estate collateral release documents and UCC terminations, file releases with correct county (using Simplifile) or Secretary of State. Create and maintain / store paid loan files.
- Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualifications
Minimum Formal Qualifications for Specialist I:
- Associate's Degree years' experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study.
- 1+ years' of direct experience in commercial loan documentation and commercial lending operations and procedures.
Minimum Formal Qualifications for Specialist II:
- Bachelor's Degree years' experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study.
- 3+ years' of direct experience in commercial loan documentation and commercial lending operations and procedures.
Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.
Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of commercial loan documentation requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Laser Pro documentation software and Baker Hill NextGen programs.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential assignments with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to handle changing priorities.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Must be self-motivated and able to perform duties and tasks accurately and efficiently with moderate supervision.

Additional Information
The pay range for this position is: $22 to $28 per Hour (S13)
The pay range for this position is: $26 to $31 per Hour (S14)
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.
This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
