Job Description

The purpose of this position is to generate new sound and profitable loan and deposit relationships for Ent from Ent's market area and represent our organization in the community. These new corporate relationships will add to the profitability, quality and diversification of the corporate banking membership base. More specifically, this position will be responsible for the sourcing of Small Business Administration (SBA) loans from both our existing membership and community, as well serve as the Corporate Banking Department's liaison with our outsourced SBA underwriting and servicing partner, SBA Complete.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify prospects and member opportunities (both SBA and conventional) based upon relationships and knowledge of local market.
  • Serves as liaison with our SBA underwriter/servicer to upload and manage new loan opportunities and usher new loans through the SBA underwriting, approval, and closing process.
  • Manage ongoing relationships.
  • Provide for an informed credit decision based on academic background and experience.
  • Identify new products to enhance relationships.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Formal Education Required for this Position:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management.
  • Minimum Work Experience:
    • 8+ years' of commercial lending background, SBA lending experience, corporate sales, credit analysis, underwriting and service, and a formal commercial credit training program required
    Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of "Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years' of accounting experience? could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master's Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience
     
  • Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
    • Knowledge of the SBA programs and its standard operating procedures.
    • Sufficient accounting knowledge to interpret financial statements.
    • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheet applications.
    • Must be able to underwrite and competently create a credit presentation narrative that includes company, guarantor, and collateral analysis (including the identification of risks and strengths and weaknesses of the credit facility).
    • Knowledge of financial statement spreading and cash flow analysis.
    • Knowledge of legal aspects of non-natural persons (Corporations, LLCs, etc.).
    • Knowledge of contract law.
    • Good understanding of business economics and banking.
    • Working knowledge of corporate business practices.
    • Comprehensive understanding of financial deposit and loan products.
    • Relationship Management ? business development, influencing, advisory, and acquisition skills.

Additional Information

Typical Pay Range (S18): $103,376.00 to $135,678.40 annual and is eligible for the annual corporate bonus.
