Enprotech Industrial Technologies is a supplier of repair, rebuilding, and field services for the metal forming and steel industry. We are rapidly growing and looking to expand our team! Enprotech is in search of positive attitudes that can provide urgency and innovative solutions to our customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to sales team with development of project scope of work, sales estimates, and proposals.
• Communicate with customers effectively for tailoring systems to best meet their needs.
• Provide project management and equipment start-up at Enprotech and customer facilities as required.
• Utilize standard controls engineering principles to amend industrial machinery programs and documentation.
• Design, debug, program, test, and commission control systems.
• Troubleshoot all equipment and program PLCs to support manufacturing equipment and operations at Enprotech and customer facilities.
• Utilize standard electrical engineering principles to prepare schematics and program industrial machinery.
• Work with vendors for panel build and occasionally build electrical assemblies from schematics and drawings, including control panels, cables, and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Work independently or with contract electricians to install cables and field I/O wiring on machines in accordance with schematics and drawings.
• Install various assemblies that require electrical wiring (i.e., panels, motors, etc.).
• Serve as a resource to other skilled workers and engineering staff.
• Promote a safe work environment within Enprotech and customer facilities.

Education and Training, or Experience equivalent:

• BA in Electrical Engineering preferred. Will accept new graduates.
• Industrial Controls or Electrical Maintenance 3-5 years
• Press equipment experience a plus.

Skills and abilities

• Relevant technical experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI programming, AutoCAD, and Microsoft 365.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively present information to internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently but also coordinate effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible/adaptable to rapidly changing priorities.
• Ability to multitask on multiple projects while keeping them on schedule.
• Ability to manage, plan, and coordinate activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and cost parameters.

Reports to the Director of Advanced Engineering Group

Travel: Up to 25%
