Job Description

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts and pieces using a variety of hand tools and equipment
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints for assembling machines to proper specifications
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets standards and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Utilize in house mechanical equipment such as forklift, overhead cranes, hoists, etc. after successful completion of Bevcorp’s powered industrial truck certification program
  • Maintain work areas as well as equipment, tools and machines in a safe, neat and orderly condition
  • Follow directions
  • Responsible for accurately clocking in and out of job/project/builds by utilization of E10
  • Other duties as assigned by Assembly Supervisors and/or Assembly Manager

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to use the correct tools for the job
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate issues/solutions to supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of assembly experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical work history and tool knowledge
  • Ability to regularly lift/carry 30-50 pounds
  • Experience in reading and understanding assembly drawings
