Job Description

Member of a corporate IT team with primary responsibility for maintaining, upgrading, and managing software, hardware, and network at our two local facilities.   In addition, would assist the corporate team in supporting multi-state/multi-country infrastructure.

Responsibility:

  • Applying IT policies to hardware, software, and standardizing infrastructure.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, and server software.
  • Upgrades and troubleshooting to CAD software
  • Support end-users
  • Setup and disable new AD accounts and exchange
  • Physical maintenance and BIOS updating of servers, working with Dell support to receive replacement parts. Some off-hours will be required for maintenance or patching each month.
  • Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly
  • Responsible for Ubiquiti wireless network, local printers.
  • Maintain Sophos anti-virus
  • Maintain Dell and Cisco switches
  • Very Limited travel may be necessary to support other facilities throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Qualifications

Skills/Experience:

  •  3-5 years of experience as system administration
  • Experience in project management
  • Windows Server, Windows 10, MS Office
  • Strong in Active Directory and GPO.
  • RDS/Terminal services
  • Networking: Basic understanding of TCPIP, subnets, vlans, firewall and VPN
  • Experience in cloud computing O365 / Exchange Online
