Job Description

  • Assist in pre-writing formal audits while on-site and provide customers with an immediate report
  • Prepare initial rough draft parts lists and assist in revisions to forms as directed by Audit Manager in the field and in the office
  • Assist in logically planning and scheduling audits with contact between Audit Manager, Audit Coordinator, and customers
  • Identify all filling, blending, capping, and seaming equipment in plants for Bevcorp recordkeeping
  • Help identify new machinery and sales opportunities (e.g., handling parts, electrical controls, Cat 3 and 4 guarding sales for Crown and non-Crown fillers)
  • Assist with technical support to customers to help build relationship and trust
  • Follow up on open quotes from audits to drive sales
  • Perform periodic final inspection audit assistance of new machinery before shipment from Bevcorp to customer facilities
  • Periodic assistance to the Field Service Department for back-up support and cross training

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience as a Field Service Specialist preferred (3+ years)
  • Familiarity with dimensional tolerances and ability to understand blueprints
  • Strong computer and smart device competency
  • Electrical experience is a plus (not required)
  • Ability to decide when out of tolerance parts (due to wear) are acceptable or not acceptable based off applications and other related parts

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven experience successfully dealing with all types of customers
  • Ability to produce timely and detailed reports
  • Willingness to follow directives from managers and follow company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work professionally even when under pressure and under the scrutiny of challenging customers and projects
  • Self-driven and self-reliant
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly, sometimes with short notice
  • Willingness to work and cooperate with others at all times including fellow employees, outside contractors, and customers

  • Reliable, dedicated, and responsible worker
