Job Description

  • Jr. Technicians will travel and train under a lead Sr. Technician while learning all aspects of auditing, troubleshooting, installing, repairing and rebuilding high speed bottle and can beverage filling equipment at customer facilities all over the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.  Includes some in-house training in Willoughby, Ohio.
  • Sr. Technicians will have the ability to perform all aspects of filler service and be able to work independently as well as lead projects including the supervision of other Sr. and Jr. Technicians.
  • Field Service Technicians are required to troubleshoot machinery in customer plants, which may require a high level of physical capability. Lifting (between 5 and 100 pounds), bending, crawling, carrying, kneeling, twisting, walking, and climbing, typically for extended periods of time, are all essentials functions of this role.
  • Successfully coordinating and executing travel plans, both air and automobile (and all physical requirements surrounding traveling), are also required for this role. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior mechanical experience (2+ years preferred)
  • Basic machining and welding skills preferred
  • Familiarity with dimensional tolerances and ability to understand blueprints
  • Electrical experience is a plus
  • Basic computer and smart device competency
  • Must have a passport and be willing to travel internationally
