Job Description

  • Strong advocate of the Safety Initiatives to create a team involved safety culture and driving to an injury free environment
  • Lead and implement operation excellence throughout the manufacturing sites to improve, safety, quality, scheduling, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the manufacturing operations
  • Develop and implement an integrated production scheduling system that enable flexibility to meet customer needs
  • Provide leadership for team member relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development
  • Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement and team member involvement
  • Ensure proper material management to meet production needs
  • Maintain, hire and determine the necessary human resources
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the Epicor ERP system and be a leader in its use
  • Develop and deploy opex(operational expenditure) improvement initiatives improving cost structure
  • Use metrics to track the well-being of the operation and drive change
  • Ensure all processes maintain a high level of quality
  • Maintain a team that is accountable for executing operating procedures and deliverables
  • Interact regularly with executive team and individual department heads to insure that company priorities are aligned with direction of the company

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree or higher
  • 10+ years of management/supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility
  • 10+ years managing production operations
  • Excellent ERP Skills and a belief that an ERP tool is essential to a successful operation
  • Experience with material management, process improvement, safety and quality systems and processes
  • A solid understanding of machines and tools and practical experience on equipment
