• Develop and implement IT asset management strategies. 
• Manage the lifecycle of all IT assets from acquisition to disposal as part of the on- and offboarding process. 
• Maintain a detailed inventory of the organisation's software and hardware assets plan purchases and redistributions accordingly. 
• Ensure quality control throughout the lifecycle of all corporate IT assets by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage them. 
• Manage and maintain information such as licences, service contracts and warranties for the organisation's software and hardware. 
• Ensure compliance with supplier contracts through effective planning and monitoring. 
• Develop procurement strategies across the organisation that optimise technology spend. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 
• Proven experience in IT asset management or related field. 
• In-depth knowledge of IT asset management principles, practices, and tools. 
• Strong understanding of software licensing, compliance, and contract management. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. in German and English
• Familiarity with IT procurement processes and vendor management. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. 
• Experience with IT asset management software (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera) is desirable.
