Job Description
As Senior Project Manager (Health), you will run complex health/pharma projects and multi‑brand portfolios end‑to‑end. You’ll coordinate creative, medical writing, strategy, and tech; lead regulatory workflows; and mentor PMs.
You will be joining a high-profile account, with an innovative brand in the health space. You will need to be confident working at pace, balancing priorities, and maintaining a high standard.
Role & Responsibilities
Project & Portfolio Delivery
- Own schedules, budgets, risks, and quality across complex digital and omnichannel projects (sites, iVAs/eDetailers, Approved Emails, campaigns, content programs).
- Translate briefs into scoped plans with milestones, dependencies, and review gates; run stand‑ups, WIPs, and stakeholder forums.
- Mentor PMs on estimation, Jira hygiene, acceptance criteria, and handover excellence.
Healthcare Compliance
- Lead MLR and regulatory workflows (Medicines Australia Code, TGA) with impeccable documentation.
- Route and track materials through Veeva PromoMats/Vault (and client equivalents), coordinating medical/legal reviews and ensuring audit readiness.
- Anticipate compliance risks and build realistic delivery plans around gating and approval cycles.
Commercials & Forecasting
- Manage budgets, burn, and change control; keep Workbook clean and timesheets accurate.
- Flag variances early with options; contribute to estimates for new briefs and scope changes.
Ways of Working & Tools
- Maintain clear Jira boards and ticket quality; ensure Pageproof and Confluence documentation is current and usable.
- Use AI tools to accelerate documentation, risk scans, QA checklists, and status reporting.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years in digital/creative/health communications; strong record in regulated delivery
- Confidence with Veeva, MLR cycles, claims/referencing with medical writers
- End-to-end delivery experience across omnichannel campaigns, content programs, and digital assets
- Strong organisational capability; able to manage multiple concurrent projects without losing detail or quality
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication; confident running meetings and presenting status
- Comfort with budgets, timesheets, and financial reporting; understands the link between delivery decisions and margin
- Calm, proactive communicator; highly organised; commercially literate
