Job Description

At Energym, we believe that every digit tells a story and every decimal has a purpose. We're looking for an experienced Bookeeper who brings financial finesse and administrative prowess to a place where innovation meets meticulousness. Sound like you? Here's a little more about what you'll be doing day to day: 

  • Maintaining an impeccable ledger of purchase orders, invoices and supplier payments
  • Supporting with month/year end and tax returns 
  • Supporting with accounts receivable & credit control 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, engineering and operations and finance to establish procurement requirements and assisting with identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, obtaining quotes and negotiating T&Cs 
  • Reviewing financial administrative processes with internal controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data 
  • Support the implementation and upkeep of purchasing policies 
  • Delivering administrative support such as data entry, document handling and report creation to support our Heads of Department
  • Supporting with HR Admin and employee relations. 

Qualifications

  • We're open to AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE. It's important that you've proven experience within a fast-paced environment as an Accounts Assistant or Bookeeper
  • Solid administrative experience, with a knack for multitasking and keeping the ship sailing smoothly
  • You'll be analytical, meticulous with an exceptional attention to detail, but this doesn't slow you down!
  • Highly organised, efficient and able to create order, structure and process 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to enable you to seamlessly collaborate with our teams 
  • You'll thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment and you'll easily navigate changes and challenges
  • Experience managing employee relations & HR.
