Job Description

  • Responsible for gathering technical specifications so that the product can be developed

  • Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.

  • Coordinate with Dev/Architecture effort and assess if the technical implementation meets the requirements input

  • Creating and "continually" prioritizing the product and system requirements

  • Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.

  • Act as primary intermediary between the Platform Product Manager and the development team throughout a project's life cycle.

  • Defining and balancing features, bugs, technical debt, and coordinating system level features

  • Support teams in achieving their timelines and deliverables

  • Assess if the product built satisfies customers' needs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Business Analyst experience, including product discovery and requirements gathering, or a combination of education and experience

  • Ideally, 3+ years of experience in the energy industry (electricity, natural gas, utilities) or a combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Azure DevOps (TFS)

  • Writing specifications using use cases particularly for software

  • Working to design and improve User Interface (UI) and User eXperience (UX) needs
