We are looking for a Data Analysts / Scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products. We are looking for ecommerce expertise to deliver better customer experience, drive higher revenue, early issue detection and build system for automated fraud detection, etc.

Key Skills- Machine leaning and algorithms, Decision trees, R or Python, Cassandra, NoSql, Statistical regression and testing.

Responsibilities

Use these insights to influence how an organization approaches business challenges

Extract data from multiple sources

Communicate important information and insights to business and IT leaders

Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.

Great communication skills

Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig

Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.

Masters in Statistics or relevant degree

Note- Exposure to retail or eCommerce is a must
