The Safety, Health & Wellbeing Administrator actively supports the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Manager in the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of a robust Safety Management System. This role provides critical Safety, Health & Wellbeing services and support to Pinnacle Drinks.

You will be instrumental in empowering the business to minimise risks, achieve outstanding safety outcomes, and implement best practice wellbeing initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach to workplace safety, health & wellbeing.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Review and maintain the Pinnacle Safety Management System, continuously identifying areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with the Group Safety Systems Manager to monitor legislative changes for all states, ensuring continued compliance.
  • Assist with the development, monitoring, and review of the Pinnacle Safety Strategy, collaborating with site teams for effective implementation and ensuring alignment with overall business imperatives.
  • Monitor compliance with notifiable incidents, dangerous occurrences, and improvement notices.
  • Coordinate the preparation of self-insurance audits, taking accountability for closing out action plans.
  • Support the Endeavour Group audit process, escalating corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with Self-Insurance requirements.
  • Monitor and update the Pinnacle Risk Profile, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions (WIs) across all Pinnacle sites, ensuring they are current and compliant.
  • Monitor records and data to ensure they are maintained within procedural requirements and are current, compliant, and readily accessible.
  • Adhere to business procedures to embed safety, health, wellbeing, quality, and sustainability into the culture and ways of working.
  • Collaborate with the SH&W Manager and Safety Specialists to develop and implement integrated Safety & Wellbeing initiatives.
  • Facilitate Safety-related employee communications such as bulletins and toolboxes.
  • Liaise with suppliers for the processing of purchase orders and invoices.
  • Oversee various programs such as Drug & Alcohol, Dental, Hearing, and other programs as required.
  • Engage Managers, Team Members, Contractors, and Visitors in the development of Safety initiatives and systems.
  • Monitor Risk Assessment compliance and reviews.
  • Ensure safety training meets legislative and system requirements, including online inductions for both Team Members and Labour Hire, and that compliance training is properly recorded.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • Qualifications in OH&S (Cert IV or above)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Experience in the Wine and/or Hospitality industry would be advantageous
  • First Aid training will be well regarded
  • Mental Health First Aid training will be well regarded
