Job Description
- Define engineering standards, create architectural project blueprints, and ensure organizational best practices are followed across development teams.
- Design, develop, implement, and support clinical system applications. Need to have hands on coding experience.
- Mentor and guide engineer team leads, providing high-level technical oversight and strategy
- Lead complex external integrations with other technical teams and third-party systems.
- Review requirements and data models, then translate them into reliable applications and scalable technical architecture • Collaborate with other engineers on an Agile team to deliver code on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct design and code reviews with the extended team to ensure solutions meet established standards.
- Track, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects • Complete additional tasks necessary to support project deliverables and ongoing application support Agile Delivery and Project Execution.
- Work closely with business product owners on an Agile team to understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed.
- Partner with the Team Lead, Project Manager, and Architect on planning, estimation, documentation, and status reporting.
- Adhere to project schedules and proactively resolve or escalate issues to management • Adapt to and contribute in a fast-paced Agile application development environment.
- Understand and apply SAFe Agile and Continuous Discovery Delivery practices.
- Support test execution, including system-level and integration testing.
- Work with QA and configuration management teams on code builds, releases, test case design, and defect resolution.
- Apply unit testing frameworks and software debugging practices to improve product quality.
- Promote software craftsmanship and Agile best practices across the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
Required:
- Onsite in Denver, CO three days a month
- Experience with Google ADK, GCP cloud services, including Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Datastore, Cloud Memorystore, and Cloud Firestore.
- Development experience with Java and Spring Boot (Angular experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with platform and infrastructure tools such as Terraform and Helm.
- Strong hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipeline development, build and release automation, deployment practices, operational support for cloud based applications, and advancing Google Cloud Platform maturity across different supported applications.
- Familiarity with microservice architecture principles; system architecture experience is a plus Application Development.
- Development experience with Java and Spring Boot (Angular experience is a plus).
- Professional development experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Object-oriented design and development experience.
- Understanding of software design patterns.
- Ability to remain hands-on with coding while also providing technical guidance to development teams AI and Automation.
- AI experience, including knowledge of building AI agents using Gemini or Vertex AI, is preferred.
- Experience building AI automation or automation within a CI/CD portfolio Leadership, Collaboration, and Communication.
- Provide strategic technical guidance, mentor engineer team leads, and oversee solution delivery while maintaining technical hands-on expertise.
- Work effectively across a broader portfolio, including development teams, product stakeholders, QA, configuration management, architecture, and project leadership.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work well under pressure and maintain delivery focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate effectively with offshore teams when needed.
- Demonstrate experience bringing multiple products to market.
