Job Description

Endava is entering its next phase of growth and market evolution. We are seeking a senior, enterprise-level marketing leader to redefine and elevate our global market positioning.

The Marketing and Communications Director will shape Endava’s global go-to-market strategy, sharpen our competitive differentiation, and drive marketing as a measurable commercial growth engine within a publicly listed global technology business.

This is not a brand maintenance role. It is a transformation mandate.

Reporting to the Chief Engagement Officer, this leader will integrate marketing, corporate communications, demand generation and executive positioning into a unified, performance-driven function that accelerates pipeline, strengthens market credibility and supports enterprise-wide change.

What You Will Own

Enterprise Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Define and execute Endava’s global go-to-market positioning across industries, capabilities and strategic alliances.
  • Refine and strengthen our competitive differentiation in digital engineering, data, cloud and AI-led transformation.
  • Translate corporate strategy into compelling market narratives that resonate with clients, partners, analysts and investors.
  • Drive measurable impact on pipeline growth, revenue expansion and market share.

Public Company Communications & Executive Visibility

  • Lead global external communications within a listed company environment.
  • Elevate executive and corporate visibility across media, analysts and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent, high-impact messaging aligned to corporate strategy and financial performance.
  • Lead reputation and sensitive communications with confidence and precision.

Transformation & Change

  • Lead marketing through periods of organisational and strategic transformation.
  • Reposition capabilities, industries or offerings as the business evolves.
  • Build a marketing function that can scale, adapt and lead change - not react to it.
  • Embed commercial accountability and performance discipline across the function.

Commercial Growth Engine

  • Strengthen marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue.
  • Advance account-based and industry-led go-to-market models in close partnership with Commercial leadership.
  • Maximise impact of strategic partner and ecosystem marketing.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and ROI transparency across all initiatives.

Global Leadership

  • Lead and evolve a high-performing global marketing and communications leadership team.
  • Align Brand, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Field Marketing and Marketing Operations into a cohesive global function.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to the Chief Engagement Officer and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across regions, industries and corporate functions.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Senior marketing leadership experience within a global B2B technology, consulting or digital engineering organisation.
  • Proven experience operating in a publicly listed company environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading marketing through transformation and strategic repositioning.
  • Deep expertise in go-to-market strategy, competitive positioning and industry differentiation.
  • Clear evidence of driving measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Experience leading complex, matrixed, global teams.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to operate at board-adjacent level.
