Job Description

  • Your main responsibilities will be to test software systems, you will review and analyze documentation, specifications and understand the business requirements; 
  • You will be mostly involved in investigating, analyzing and writing tests for reported defects. 
  • Implement best practices for test automation to optimize test execution efficiency. 
  • Contribute to test planning and strategy, collaborating with QA and development teams to define test objectives, scope, and schedules. 
  • Provide input on risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to automated testing. 

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience with:
    • Programming concepts in .Net Core (4+)
    • Automation frameworks like Selenium or Playwright
    • RESTful API automation using RestSharp (or Playwright)
    • Testing frameworks (orchestrators) like: Nunit, xUnit or MSTest
    • Source Code Management using Git
    • API Contract testing using any REST API GUI client like Postman
    • CI/CD tools like Git Pipelines, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline or AzureDevOps
    • (as a plus) BDD or TDD frameworks like Specflow or ReqNRoll
    • (as a plus) Database Testing
    • (as a plus) Dependency Injection with IoC frameworks like Lamar, Autofac or IServiceProvider
  • Strong technical expertise and understanding:
    • The software development and testing life cycles
    • Testing methodologies and techniques
    • Release strategies (UAT, QAAT)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to details
  • Proficiency in executing automated and manual test cases and accurately documenting test results
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems and experience in defect identification, reporting, and tracking
  • Desirable:  ISTQB Certification or other relevant certifications (like Azure Cloud Fundamentals)
