Job Description
Come join our team and be part of developing the latest 5G Radio technologies that will be used by billions of people around the world!
The project is to develop tools and environment for 5G Radio engineers. They include:
- Flow sector includes 30+ tools contributing to efficient and effective solutions in Production System for managing products throughout the CI flows.
- Design and Cloud Environment (DAC) provides a secure cloud and development environment, offering modern on demand services to the developers to help scale and grow.
- Traffic Control (TC) Production supports developers in the CI flows and is responsible for the production environment within Traffic Control.
Your job will be involved in developing the flow sector tools, traffic control product and a cloud environment which automates repetitive workflow e.g. building software for different targets, testing and reporting the test result. By joining the team, you have a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies such as micro-services, container technology and Kubernetes infrastructure; and world-class international experts from a world-leading equipment provider.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Spinnaker.
- Develop automation scripts and tooling using Bash, Python, or Groovy.
- Deploy and maintain scalable containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm chart and cloud-native best practices.
- Implement secure, high-availability systems on OpenStack-based private clouds.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define DevOps strategies and integrate solutions into the development workflow.
- Optimize build and release processes to reduce time-to-market and increase deployment reliability.
Qualifications
- IT Background
- Basic Linux system administration skills
- Familiarity with Git and basic version-control workflows.
- Understanding DevOps principles and the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
- Scripting in Bash, Python or Groovy.
- Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
- Awareness of Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Ansible.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and adapt in a fast-changing setting.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with basic English communication skills
