Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. As a Senior React Developer at Endava you will play a key role in designing and implementing user interfaces that drive exceptional user experiences, collaborating closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern, high-quality web applications using React.js and TypeScript.

• Lead the front-end architecture and contribute to scalable design patterns.

• Optimize application performance, ensuring high speed and responsiveness.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team-wide best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product requirements into technical solutions.

• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring data consistency and security.

• Participate in code reviews and continuous integration processes.

• Stay current with the latest front-end trends, frameworks, and technologies.

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end web development.

• Strong proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Deep understanding of React Hooks, Context API, and state management libraries such as Redux or Recoil.

• Experience with Next.js, Vite, or other modern build tools.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design principles.

• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, and version control (Git).

• Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization techniques.
