Job Description

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to design, manage and continuously optimize the infrastructure and pipelines that power our Component Based Architecture (CBA) software product, which is a high availability and high-capacity cluster platform based on Linux system.

As part of a cross-functional team, you will implement, automate CI/CD workflows, collaborate closely with software developers to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient deployments across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Design, maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and develop automation scripts, tools using Bash, Python, or Groovy.
  • Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible and deploy scalable containerized applications using Docker.
  • Deploy secure, high-availability systems on OpenStack-based private clouds.
  • Integrate monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system reliability.
  • Support developers in troubleshooting environment-related issues and improving ways of working.
  • Optimize build and release processes to reduce time-to-market and increase deployment reliability

Qualifications

A University Qualification in Software Engineering or a related degree is required.

  • Understanding DevOps principles and the software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
  • Good at scripting in Bash, Python or Groovy.
  • Familiar with Linux environment.
  • Good at log analytical, debugging, and problem-solving ability.
  • Good at both spoken and written English communication.
