Network Engineer IA CyND - ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Provide network engineering, architecture and administration design services to design communications architectures, encryption strategies, system monitoring, load balancing, and enhance network performance with applicable patches and upgrades

Provide support for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of Automation Information Systems (AIS) hardware and operating systems software on unclassified but Sensitive Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), Secure Internet Protocol Routing Network (SIPRNET), and commercial ISPs

Provide support for the installation, configuration, and administration in the following network technologies: TCP/IP protocols, Voice-over IP (VOIP), Ethernet Networks, Hyper Text transfer Protocols (HTTP), Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Point to Point protocols (PPP), routers, network switches, and hubs

Develop and maintain installation procedures, configuration management guides, troubleshooting guides and other documentation

Provide analysis, design, implementation support, acquisition support, and accreditation support for the implementation of networks and equipment

Provide curriculum development support when the POI or lesson plans requires modification due to changing technology, requirements, or critical tasks as related to network infrastructure

Required Certifications:

One current technical certification equal to skills required e.g., CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, or CCIP

Education/Experience:

   Minimum of 6 years of experience working as a network engineer, and worked directly in the                                  career field during the 6 of the preceding 8 years

Travel: 25% CONUS and OCONUS

Clearance Required: SECRET
