EnPower, Inc. is a lithium-ion cell manufacturer poised to become the U.S. leader in advanced battery manufacturing. EnPower’s technology advantage lies in its patented multilayer electrodes, which address the trade-off between energy and power. High energy density cells with EnPower’s electrodes can repeatedly fast charge without degradation to service life, solving a critical challenge to the mass adoption of electric vehicles. We recently opened a customer qualification facility located in Indianapolis, IN that will produce up to 800-MWh of advanced Li-ion batteries annually for a variety of markets. The facility is equipped with a pouch cell manufacturing line and accelerates EnPower’s time to market by 24 months.

Job Description

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project manager that effectively prioritizes and anticipates situations in order to preempt “fire drills” and general disruptions. You build strong, professional relationships and work autonomously. You have a customer-first attitude and an inherent sense of accountability. You maintain a high-level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. You will prioritize numerous requests and incoming information, applying an appropriate level of ownership to each task.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with executives on routine or reoccurring meeting planning. 
  • Provide detailed data, information, and resources in preparation for meetings. 
  • Attend monthly meetings, executives' calls, and other meetings as requested.
  • Inter-company meeting minutes and announcements.
  • Manage multiple schedules for executives with extensive calendaring.
  • Manage office relationships to coordinate any needed work orders in the areas of security, housekeeping, and office maintenance.
  • Purchase and maintain office supplies and equipment and budget expense control.
  • Submit corporate credit card and executive credit card expense reports. 
  • Support office events by organizing meetings, coordinating schedules, ordering meals, and setting up food and beverages for meetings. 
  • Be the relationship manager for the office's amenities such as coffee, water system, snacks, office supplies, etc. 
  • Answer phone calls and provide information for callers. 
  • Provide a professional first impression for all visitors while they are onsite.
  • Organize office operations and procedures, such as creating Word or Excel files and filing preparation, the flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies, and other office services.
  • Oversee opening, sorting, and routing incoming mail, answering correspondence, and preparing outgoing mail.
  • Management of bills and invoices and ensuring credit card management related to office management. 
  • Management of office projects engaging others to collaborate and accountable to see through to completion.
  • Corporate support services across HR, IT, and Accounting/Finance.
  • Assist with new hire orientation.
  • Partners with finance and accounting support team members with special projects.
  • Support operations in preparation to internal and external audit inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance is required with two plus (2+) years of experience as an office manager, executive assistant, or similar role is required. 
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze reports and identify gaps/inefficiencies/problems which could impact the business.  
  • Ability to operate independently and understand what, when, how, and to whom to escalate issues
  • Demonstrates the ability to solve common problems and to provide immediate solutions.
  • High level of self-awareness and experienced in “reading the room” and flexing to accommodate the needs of the audience.
