Job Description
• Clean and assemble process equipment for mixing and coating.
• Identify and maintain accurate inventory and scheduled materials needed for production.
• Carry out the details production process coating slurry mixes
• Evaluate and maintain accurate Critical-To-Quality Material and Process Measurements to Assure Quality.
• Work with the Process and Cell Engineers to schedule production tasks to meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Perform mechanical repairs and assist engineering with electrical and control engineering hardware and software
• Learn detailed operation of equipment and control procedures for mixing, coating, calendaring, and punching.
• Understand the customer driven electrode production specifications and maintain statistical quality control data.
• Ensure that the workspace is clean and neat.
• Keep a record of work orders.
• Ensure that health and safety laws are followed.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience and knowledge of equipment and operation used in manufacturing processes.
• Ability to write and maintain accurate Standard Operational Procedures for Manufacturing Processes
• Knowledge of health and safety laws.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
and perform the following for extended periods of time:
• Standing or sitting
• Climbing/squatting/walking
• Repetitive motions and lifting)
