EnPower, Inc. is an early-stage startup developing next-generation Li-ion batteries that have fast-charging and long cycle-life capabilities—critical enablers to the mass electrification of vehicles. Our R&D, pilot-manufacturing, and sales operations are based out of our engineering facility & headquarters located in the north Phoenix - Deer Valley area where we are producing hundreds of >3.0Ah pouch cells per week. We are passionate about what we do, and are looking for high-voltage, high-ampere individuals to join our team!

• Serve as subject matter expert on coating processes
• Establish standard procedures for coating operations on mature technologies
• Develop new procedures for less mature technologies
• Trouble-shoot new technologies
• Implement process improvements for coating operations
• Establish quality control methods for coating operations
• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight for the execution, standardization and monitoring of coating runs

• BS in Science/Engineering
• 3-5 years hands-on experience in slot-die coating processes
• Experience with other coating techniques (e.g. comma roll, cascade, slide, etc.) is a plus
• Ability to translate product outcomes to processing conditions and equipment parameters
• Strong statistical background
• Solid understanding of properties of viscous fluids and colloids and solvent drying
• Capable of developing and engineering test plans with good data records
• Lithium ion battery coating experience is a plus
• Multi-layered slot-die coating experience is a plus
