Educational Requirements:

Grade 12

Relevant qualification in warehouse management

At least 3 years’ experience within operations, logistics or distribution in a similar environment

Previous Staff management experience

Understanding and knowledge of supply chain from buying, selling to distribution

Technical knowledge of daily running of a frozen plant

MS office Suite

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct investigations and disciplinary hearings and attend CCMA cases

Must be willing to work overtime when needed

Housekeeping

Manage the team regarding productivity and time management

Prevent and manage shrinkage and damages

Manage logistics in warehousing and manage expenses in the department e.g overtime

Manage implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Managing the food Safety Audit Program

Utilise the prescribed systems (Great plaints) to draw reports

Manage the budget for the section

Manage staff and welfare of members

Manage the branch warehouse function

Manage stock control and inventory function including stocktake preparation

Enforce safety and housekeeping programme on an ongoing basis

Leverage Great Plains reporting in order to control branch logistical functions

Manage the statistics of picking for picker statistics and ensure productivity

Educational Requirements:
