Enterprise Architect
Job Description
Elite Talent Resourcing have been engaged by a leading provider in the Plumbing industry to source a Enterprise Architect for their office based in Northampton on a permanent basis.
As an Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for the effectiveness, integration and optimisation of the architectural layers within the overall Enterprise Architecture. You will create future state architectural visions that support the IT strategy and increase the maturity of the EA, assessing emerging technologies for their architectural fit and driving standardisation where necessary and possible.
Main duties and responsibilities for the Enterprise Architect:
- Partner with stakeholders of all levels across the business to elicit, lead and influence strategy discussions
- Translating the strategic roadmap into project pipeline
- Applying expertise and knowledge of technology concepts and trends
- Shaping, influencing and acting as design authority for new business technology initiatives at inception
- Providing expert guidance and analysis of business impact of potential changes
The ideal Enterprise Architect:
- A degree in Computer Science, a related discipline or equivalent work experience
- A strong background of working at Senior level within an architecture team
- Experience working in a global enterprise architecture role with proven success at enterprise level
- Exposure to working within a complex organisation
- Excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge of business process and capability design with the ability to interpret business strategies
- Ability to shape and and influence initiatives that ensure alignment with the business strategy
